Frequently asked questions
What exactly is the platform fee?
It is a percentage of what your own customers pay you. The subscription covers the infrastructure; the fee covers card processing, payouts and the share of revenue the platform keeps. It is deducted automatically, so the amount transferred to you is already net.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes, for payouts. Onboarding happens inside your dashboard through Stripe Connect, and Stripe handles identity verification. You can run the trial and connect domains before that.
What happens when I exceed the tracked clicks limit?
Redirects keep working. Clicks above the limit are not recorded into analytics, and the dashboard shows a prompt to upgrade. Nothing breaks for your customers.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, in both directions. Upgrades apply immediately with standard proration. On a downgrade that puts you above the new limits, existing entities keep working and you get 14 days to fit.
Is there a limit on how much I charge my customers?
Only a floor: plans must be at least five dollars a month, because below that card processing costs make the economics negative for both sides.
What does the yearly discount apply to?
The subscription price only — yearly billing takes 20 percent off the monthly price. The platform fee percentage is set by your plan and does not change with the billing period.
