The Replug alternative where a client workspace earns instead of costing

Replug is the only competitor in this category with a genuinely white-label dashboard, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The difference is what a client account does to your invoice.

When to look for an alternative

Replug is the closest thing we have to a direct competitor, and the only vendor on our list whose white-label is the real article rather than link branding wearing the name. On the Agency plan at $99 a month, or $79 billed annually, the dashboard runs on your own domain through a CNAME to Whitelabel.replug.io, carries your logo, favicon and login page, sends email through your own SMTP, and exports reports with your name on them. If you have been told that white-label link management does not exist below enterprise pricing, Replug is the counter-example.

The reason to look for an alternative is almost never the branding. It is the workspace maths. Agency includes ten workspaces, and each additional one costs $8 to $10 a month. That purchased workspace does bring something with it — 25,000 clicks, five domains and one user — so it is not a pure tax. But the direction of the money is fixed: every client you add makes your bill larger, and nothing about the arrangement makes it smaller. An agency with forty clients is paying for thirty extra workspaces before it has invoiced anybody.

The second reason is that Replug has no client billing at all. Every workspace is billed to the agency, so charging your clients is your own problem: your invoices, your card processing, your dunning, your reconciliation. Replug gives you a product that looks like yours and stops exactly where the commercial relationship begins.

What Replug does that we do not is worth stating plainly, because it is the real trade-off. Replug sits in the conversion segment: it puts calls to action, banners and retargeting overlays on top of the pages your links point at. That overlay layer is not on our v1 checklist. If those widgets are the reason you bought Replug, nothing below replaces them.

Workspaces: a cost line on one side, a revenue line on the other

Both products give a client their own isolated space. The difference is which direction the money moves when you create one. On Replug the tenth workspace is the last free one and the eleventh costs $8 to $10 a month; on LinkProfit the fiftieth is included at $49 and the two hundred and fiftieth is included at $149. Neither of us is being generous — the models simply earn in different places.

Ours earns on the other side of the transaction. A workspace exists so that a client can be sold a subscription: you define the plans, you set the prices from $5 a month upwards, the client pays by card, and Stripe Connect routes the money to your account with the platform fee deducted at the source. The fee is 15% on Starter, 12% on Growth and 10% on Scale, and it is taken from revenue that would not exist without the workspace.

Work the arithmetic for forty clients. On Replug that is Agency at $99 plus thirty extra workspaces at roughly $9, so about $369 a month leaving your account, with every invoice to those clients raised by you elsewhere. On Growth at $149 the same forty clients are included, and if you charge each of them $25 a month the platform returns $900 of their $1,000 to your bank account. The comparison is not $99 against $149.

White-label: both are real, and the difference is where it stops

Give Replug its due. Dashboard on your own domain, your logo and favicon, your login page, outgoing mail through your own SMTP server, branded reports. That is a complete visual white-label, it works, and it is the only one of its kind among the eight vendors in our research. Anyone who claims the category has no white-label has not looked at Replug.

Where it stops is the invoice. A client logging into a Replug workspace sees your brand and then, when it is time to pay, receives something you produced by hand. There is no plan they can subscribe to, no card on file, no renewal, no failed-payment retry, no receipt with your name on it. The branding is complete and the commerce is absent.

On our side the two are the same system. The client sees your service name, logo, colours, favicon and login page; the emails they receive come from your address; the plan they subscribe to is one you created; the receipt carries your descriptor; the renewal happens without you; and the money lands in your Stripe account. From Growth the dashboard runs on your own hostname with our mark removed entirely.

Click ceilings, retention and what a limit actually does

Replug meters clicks from 10,000 a month at the bottom to 250,000 at the top, with each purchased workspace adding 25,000. Past the ceiling the redirect still fires, which is the right call, but calls to action and retargeting pixels stop working. For a conversion product that is a meaningful degradation: the feature you are paying for is the first thing switched off, and it happens silently in the middle of a campaign.

We meter tracked clicks at 100,000, 500,000 and 2,000,000 a month, and going over does not disable anything. Redirects fire, clicks are still counted, you are notified, and the overage is settled on the next invoice. The reasoning is that a partner reselling to clients cannot explain a feature disappearing mid-month to somebody who is paying them for it.

Retention is the quieter difference. Replug runs from 14 days on the entry tier to unlimited at the top; the 14-day floor means a monthly report is already impossible on the cheapest plan. Every LinkProfit plan keeps at least 12 months, and Scale keeps 24, which is what makes year-over-year reporting to a client possible without exporting data yourself.

Migrating is a CSV, not a project

Replug is not one of the three importer presets we ship — those are Bitly, Short.io and Rebrandly — so an export needs its columns aligned to the slug, destination, title and tags shape before upload. After that the import behaves the same way: 1,000 rows per batch, slugs preserved character for character, and each batch landing in whichever client workspace you choose. If you are moving several client accounts, import them one workspace at a time; the structure carries across cleanly because both products organise links the same way.

The dashboard cutover is a DNS change. Your dashboard hostname currently points at Whitelabel.replug.io with a CNAME; repoint it at the target our dashboard issues when you add the domain, and the same address serves your branded dashboard here with a certificate issued automatically. Redirect domains move the same way, and links on them keep their slugs, so the URLs already printed on materials continue to resolve.

Keep the Replug subscription running until traffic on the old endpoints has stopped. Nothing about the two services operating in parallel causes a conflict — the only shared resource is a DNS record, and that one flips when you are ready.

Frequently asked questions

Is Replug's white-label genuinely as good as it sounds?

Yes. Dashboard on your domain, your logo and favicon, your login page, your own SMTP for outgoing mail and branded reports, all on the Agency plan at $99 a month. It is the only real white-label among the eight vendors we researched, and the reason this page argues about billing rather than branding.

What does an extra client actually cost on each platform?

On Replug, $8 to $10 a month beyond the ten included with Agency, in exchange for 25,000 clicks, five domains and one user. On LinkProfit an extra client costs nothing: 50 workspaces are included at $49, 250 at $149 and 1,000 at $399. We earn from the platform fee on what the client pays you, not from the workspace existing.

Can my clients pay me through the platform?

On LinkProfit yes — that is the core of it. You create plans, set prices from $5 a month, and clients subscribe by card through Stripe Connect, with the money going to your account and the platform fee deducted at the source. On Replug every workspace is billed to the agency, so client invoicing stays entirely outside the product.

Do you have Replug's calls to action and overlays?

No. Replug belongs to the conversion segment: CTA widgets, banners and retargeting overlays on top of the destination page are the heart of the product, and that layer is not on our v1 checklist. If it is why you bought Replug, this comparison does not apply to you.

What happens when I go over the click limit?

On Replug redirects keep working while calls to action and pixels switch off. On LinkProfit nothing switches off: redirects fire, clicks are counted, you are notified, and the overage is settled on the next invoice. A partner reselling to clients cannot explain a feature vanishing mid-month to somebody paying for it.

How long is analytics data kept?

Replug runs from 14 days on the entry plan to unlimited at the top. Every LinkProfit plan keeps at least 12 months and Scale keeps 24, which is the difference between being able to send a client a year-over-year report and having to export data yourself every month.
