Branding and Email Sender

Apply your logo, colours and favicon across the dashboard, send email from your own domain, and control where the platform mark appears.

Updated August 13, 2026

Branding decides what your clients believe they are using. Configured fully, the service carries your name everywhere they look: the dashboard, the links, the emails, the payment page and the card statement.

Brand basics

Open Branding in your partner dashboard. The form renders a live preview of the client dashboard beside it, so every change is visible before you save.

  • Service name. Used in the dashboard header, page titles, email subjects and the description on the payment page.
  • Logo. SVG or PNG with a transparent background. It appears in the dashboard header, in email headers and on the pages the redirector serves, such as the password prompt.
  • Favicon. Square, at least 64 by 64 pixels, served from your own domain so tabs and bookmarks show your mark.
  • Primary colour. Buttons, links, focus rings and charts derive from it. Colours are applied as variables during server rendering, so pages never flash unstyled.
  • Custom CSS. For adjustments the fields do not cover. It is injected into the client dashboard only, and a syntax error affects appearance rather than function.

Where your brand appears

Some surfaces are easy to forget:

  • The client dashboard and every screen inside it.
  • The password prompt shown when a visitor opens a protected link.
  • The expiry page shown when a link has passed its end date.
  • The preview card served to messengers and social networks.
  • Transactional email, including invitations, sign-in and billing notices.
  • The payment page where clients subscribe, and their card statement, which carries your brand as the descriptor suffix.

Send email from your own domain

By default messages go out from a platform sending domain with your brand as the display name, in the shape Brand <no-reply@mail.linkprofit.com>. It works immediately and delivers reliably, but the address is not yours. From the Growth plan upwards you can send from your own domain instead.

  1. Open Branding, then the Email sender section, and enter the domain you want to send from, such as brand.com.
  2. The panel generates the DNS records for that domain. Add them at your DNS provider using the same interface you used for connecting a link domain.
  3. Press Verify. Verification usually completes within a few minutes.
  4. Set the sender name and address, for example Brand Support and support@brand.com, and send yourself a test message.

Three record types are involved:

TXT send.brand.com SPF value shown in the branding wizard
TXT resend._domainkey.brand.com DKIM public key shown in the branding wizard
TXT _dmarc.brand.com v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@brand.com

SPF states which servers may send for the domain, DKIM signs each message so a recipient can confirm it was not altered, and DMARC tells recipients what to do when the two disagree. Start DMARC on the permissive p=none policy shown above, read the reports for a week or two, then tighten it to quarantine.

Until verification succeeds, mail keeps going out from the platform sending domain, so nothing breaks while you configure DNS.

The dashboard address

On Starter your clients use {slug}.linkprofit.com, where the slug is the identifier you chose at registration. It works immediately and needs no DNS.

From Growth upwards you can connect your own hostname, such as app.brand.com, in Domains with the purpose Dashboard. It takes one CNAME record and the certificate is issued for you. Growth includes one dashboard domain, Scale three.

The Powered by mark

Starter shows a small "Powered by LinkProfit" line in the footer of the client dashboard and on the pages the redirector serves. Growth, Scale and Enterprise remove it.

| | Starter | Growth | Scale | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Logo, colours, favicon, custom CSS | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Client dashboard on your own domain | No | 1 domain | 3 domains | | Email from your own domain | No | Yes | Yes | | Powered by mark removed | No | Yes | Yes |

The mark is the only place the platform is named. Everything else — links, dashboard, email, statement descriptor — carries your brand on every plan, including Starter. Full plan details are on the pricing page and in Billing and Getting Paid.

One honest caveat

DNS records are public, and so are certificate transparency logs. Anyone who deliberately queries your link domain can see it points at platform infrastructure. This is true of every resold infrastructure product and no branding setting changes it; your clients will not encounter it in normal use.
